Room Layout

The Lookout Lodge has six spacious bedrooms upstairs and one private bedroom and bathroom downstairs. Guest rooms upstairs include four family rooms (king bed plus a single) and two rooms with two sets of bunks in each. The upstairs has two large bathrooms. Each bathroom has three showers, two sinks and two toilets.

Wedding Accommodation

The Lookout Lodge provides on-site accommodation for weddings, allowing the bridal party or immediate family and friends to stay together for the special event. Bridal parties can enjoy getting prepared in a relaxed, stress free environment and have private rooms throughout the function. After the function the overnight guests can stay on to enjoy the evening and wake up to the beautiful view in the morning.

Group accommodation

The Lookout Lodge is an ideal Wanaka accommodation venue for business retreats, functions, sports groups, or family groups and friends visiting from out of town. The lodge comfortably handles accommodation and living space for groups between 10 and 20+ people. The surrounding landscape and easy indoor/outdoor living space enhances the spacious feeling of the lodge, while providing a stunning backdrop.

Winter ski team accommodation

Self catering and other lodge amenities

The professional kitchen allows for easy self-catering or outside professional catering, and includes a walk in refrigerator and a large pantry. The dining area is set up with oversized tables that can each seat 14 people plus leather couches for comfortable seating. The lodge also has 120 padded folding chairs and 16 trestle tables.

The 460m2 (5,000 square feet) lodge is spaciously designed so that everyone will feel they have plenty of room for privacy, yet at the same time it is easy enough to come together for large group meals or discussions.

Ideal for families

A family will enjoy playing sports on the lawn, using the oversized tables for families games and puzzles as well as our larger soccer table. The lower level is open plan which opens to spacious lawns. This makes it very manageable for a family with young children.
